Debora L. Oyler

Debora “Debbie” L. Oyler, 61, of Loves Park, IL, was a caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was born March 16, 1961, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Randy and Judy (Morgan) Papini. Debbie was a stay-at-home mom for many years, but most recently was your smiling face at Meijer Grocery store. Earlier in life, she was an administrative auditor for McDonalds and also worked for DiGiovanni’s Restaurant. Debbie loved life, even though she suffered many ailments related to arthritis. Her pleasant personality and smile was contagious to everyone she met! She was a family oriented, animal loving, kindhearted human being. Her faith in God was strong and she would help anyone or anything in need. Debbie loved spending time gardening, taking pride in her flowers, feeding the birds, and squirrels. No animal that came into her yard left hungry! Debbie was also a huge Beatles fan. She would sing and dance every time she heard them! Her latest pride and joy was her new beautiful granddaughter, Alayah, who she adored. Survivors include her daughter, Lindsey Oyler, who was her world; granddaughter, Alayah; mother, Judy (Betty Grindey) Papini; sisters, Julie Papini, Valerie (Howie) Heaton, and Vicki Papini; nephews, Jacob Kostopulos, Liam Heaton, and Jayse Appleby; nieces, Rylee Kennington and Alyssa Appleby; ex-husband and friend, Steve Oyler; lifelong friend, Theresa Radant; close friend and neighbor, Aimee Ward; and numerous cousins.
