Obituary for Donald "Moe" Moline, Sr.

Donald “Moe” E. Moline, Sr., 85, of Roscoe passed away Friday, February 4, 2022, in Generations at Neighbors, Byron.  Born September 16, 1936, in Rockford, the son of Paul and Goldie E. (Wolfe) Moline.  Veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a jet mechanic.  Moe played many sports for the Marine Corps.  Married Joyce Kamrar on February 5, 1957, in Rockford.  Formerly employed by Barber-Colman for 10 years.  Owned and operated Moline Service Center for 23 years.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fast pitch softball.  Survivors include his wife, Joyce; daughters, Mary (Kurtis) Baraconi, and Jennifer (Scott) Kinison; sons, Donald (Yolanda) Moline, Jr., and Frank Moline; grandchildren, Elizabeth (James) Martin, and Joseph (Shannon) Baraconi; step-grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremey) Unger, and Jarrod West; great-grandchildren, Zorah Martin, and Jensen Martin; sister, Madeline Patterson of New Mexico; sister-in-law, Sylvia Moline of Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; 8 brothers; and 5 sisters.

Service at 11 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time.  Burial in Willowbrook Cemetery, Roscoe.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
